They say that there’s no better feeling than waking up in the morning with your someone special right next to you.  But let’s face it.  There’s better than that --- you and your special someone plus a COZY BED!  Now, that’s a perfect morning!

Our seven-year-old bed started showing signs of retirement in December 2013.  Shaky  and jangly frame.  Uneven, hard, worn out and uncomfortable mattress.  *sigh* We ignored the discomfort until last Saturday.  Waking up with neck, back and shoulder pain and restless legs at times – not at all fun.  So, bed shopping and bedroom facelift, here we come!

To turn our quite boring sleeping area into a special sanctuary, elegant bedroom photos from a number of interior designers in London are enough to guide us in the right direction.

Because there’s nothing complicated about this picture, we’re so excited for the up and coming change.  The calming color scheme, the elegant headboard, silky soft bed sheets, fluffy pillows, smart curtain holders, gorgeous lamps --- excellent!  No clutter, no distractions.  Hello good night sleep and acheless mornings.

In a few weeks - throwing away the bed frame and the mattress.
