My Wish List on How to Make My Life Simpler
Thursday, September 17, 2015
I live a busy, hectic life, and I don’t always have the time to do everything I’d like to do. So I have recently created a list on how to make my life simpler. Let’s start… Let me count the ways.
Learn to Drive
One thing I have always wanted is to learn to drive as this will make everything much simpler for me. I can get to the places I need to get to with ease, have the freedom and independence to do my own thing, and to leave whenever I want to. Things are so much more straightforward when you can drive.
Redecorate the Home
You might not think it, but redecorating your home can make your life much simpler. Through redecorating, you’re able to create more space in the home making your place more pleasant and inviting. I am so looking forward to making this wish come true.
If you already are in the process of redecorating, you can use this opportunity to install hardwood floors. These are more durable, and require much less maintenance than materials like carpet. So you can spend less time cleaning the floor, and more time getting on with life.
Plan My Schedule
The most important component in making one’s life simpler is by planning everything out. I’ve created a schedule for the up and coming weeks. Since I’ve started planning out my schedule I’ve realized that I have more time for something else. I can structure my day to accommodate everything I need and want to do. I never need to worry about forgetting something important again. I find more time for myself to relax, time to spend with my loved ones and friends!
Hire a Maid
Although this one’s more than less impossible to happen [especially if you’re residing here in Sweden], I’ll still add it here. Wishful thinking!
It’s often difficult to keep on top of all the things that need doing on a daily basis. There never seem to be enough hours in the day. So imagine having a maid to keep the house clean and tidy while you’re out doing other things. A maid can be a lifesaver!
Buy a Freezer
It is obvious that getting a freezer can make everything simpler. How, you ask? Well, when it comes to mealtimes of course! One can make a big meal [lasagne for example] at the start of the week then cut it up to serving pieces and freeze. This means that at the end of a long day and you don’t feel like cooking, just defrost some lasagne, and you’re good to go.
These days we all have packed schedules and dozens of obligations. As such, it’s important to look for ways that can help make our lives simpler. This is my wish list. What’s yours?
